Sabara Jaboticaba Trees

Jaboticaba is a unique tree known for its grape like-berries grow directly on the trunk instead of growing on the vines. The fruits dark purple to black, round berries with a white, jelly-like pulp, tasting similar to a muscadine grape with a sweet-tart flavor.  Care instruction: Full-sun required or partial share.  Water daily when the tree is small. Water every other day for medium tree. Fertilizer: every 3 months with 10-10-10 or 12-8-6. Don't add fertilizer when first planting it in the ground or transplanting to the bigger pots.  Soil: well-drained with good potting soil or organic soil, and acidic, may need fertilization in high pH soils.
