Description
The 'Azadi' Pomegranate is a rare variety. Its name means "freedom" in Persian. It produces medium-to-large fruit with creamy-yellow skin, pink blushes, and translucent arils. A very sweet tasting and unique looking pomegranate, Azadi has a creamy yellow skin with pink blushes and arils that are a gorgeous translucent peach color!
Azadi pomegranate trees thrive in well-drained, sandy loam soil with moderate watering, require full sun (6-8 hours daily), tolerate temperatures from 20°F to 28°F
Climate: Thrives in USDA Zones 7–10
Size: Matures into a 10–12 foot tree or multi-stemmed bush, and can easily be grown in containers.
Care: Self-fertile and highly productive. It requires full sun and well-draining soil.
