Description
The Fuerte avocado is the second most popular commercial variety of avocado in the world, after Hass. Brought from Mexico to the United States in 1911, Fuerte quickly became the dominant commercial avocado variety in the United States. Its commercial dominance lasted into the 1950s, when it was surpassed by Hass.
Fuerte Avocado Tree produces green, quality fruit with a medium-thin skin. Ideal size and ripening season from January to May.
Fuerte avocados taste rich, creamy and buttery with distinct nutty hazelnut notes and fresh lemony. They are slightly less oily and a bit more fruit-forward or sweet than Hass avocado.
