Cantaloupe jackfruit is a unique, semi-dwarf variety of the traditional jackfruit tree which has deep orange flesh, low latex levels and sweet melon flavor. The flesh is deep-orange and semi-soft, firmer than varieties like Black Gold.
The fruits typically weigh around 11 pounds, making it an ideal size for home growers and fruit enthusiasts alike. The tree reaches an average height of 8-10 feet, though it’s commonly pruned to a more compact 8 feet, fitting well into smaller gardens.
