Description
The Gary mango was selected in the 1970s by the Zill family in Boynton Beach, Florida, and is a seedling of the Carrie variety which named after horticulturalist Gary Zill.
Gary Mango is fiberless and has the combining intense sweetness with notes of coconut, pineapple, and citrus. Because of its exceptional tropical flavor, the Gary has also become a crucial parent variety for popular modern hybrids like the Coconut Cream and Pina Colada mango.
The fruit is on the smaller side (typically 0.3 to 0.75 lbs) and ripens mid-season, generally between June and July.

Water daily when the tree is small. Water every other day for medium tree.

Fertilizer: every 3 months with 10-10-10 or 12-8-6. Don't add fertilizer when first planting it in the ground or transplanting to the bigger pots.
