Grafted Giselle Mango Tree

    Description

Giselle mango is a Florida-bred cultivar from Gary Zill's breeding program in Boynton Beach, known for its juicy, richly flavored, and nearly fiber-free fruit. The fruits taste rich Indian/West Indian flavor similar to a high-end Graham, Julie, or Bombay mango with the flesh that dark yellow-orange, very juicy (often called a "juice mango"), and smooth with little to no fiber.

Size: Reaches medium-to-large maturity (15–20+ feet), but manageable with pruning.
Harvest Season: Ripens primarily in July and into August.

    Care instruction:

    • Full-sun required

    • Water daily when the tree is small. Water every other day for medium tree.

    • Fertilizer: every 3 months with 10-10-10 or 12-8-6. Don't add fertilizer when first planting it in the ground or transplanting to the bigger pots.

    • Soil: well-drained with good potting soil or organic soil.

    • USDA zone: 9-11.
