Description
Irwin mango is a commercial mango cultivar which was developed in South Florida. This variety has a smooth bright red colored fruit with sweet aroma along with juicy pulp.
The Irwin mango was a cross between the Lippens and Haden cultivars, selected by FD Irwin of Miami, FL in the 1940s. Irwin mangoes are known for their vibrant orange flesh, which is soft and fibreless, offering a succulent and melting texture.
Irwin is an early-season mango (May-June).

Water daily when the tree is small. Water every other day for medium tree.

Fertilizer: every 3 months with 10-10-10 or 12-8-6. Don't add fertilizer when first planting it in the ground or transplanting to the bigger pots.
