Grafted Oliver Loquat (Japanese Plum) Trees

    Description

    The Oliver loquat is a top-quality, early-season fruit tree variety tree. The fruits are sweet and well-balanced blend tasting like a mix of peach, apricot, and citrus. 

    The fruits are ripen early in the spring, typically March through May. The trees grows 10 to 20 feet tall, but easily kept smaller with pruning and it grow best in full sun or partial shade.

    The tree requires well-drained soil; does not tolerate standing water.

    • Water daily when the tree is small. Water every other day for medium tree.

    • Fertilizer: every 3 months with 10-10-10 or 12-8-6. Don't add fertilizer when first planting it in the ground or transplanting to the bigger pots.
