Description
The Thai jujube (Ziziphus mauritiana) is a juicy fruit known for its smooth green skin and sweet flavor resembling a cross between an apple and an Asian pear. Unlike dry Chinese red dates, Thai jujubes are eaten fresh and crunchy.
It's fast growing tree can begin bearing fruit within 2 to 3 years.
The fruit can be eaten raw out of hand, often peeled or sliced and dipped into chili salt, sugar, or plum powder as a popular street snack which high in vitamin C and dietary fiber while remaining low in calories.

Water daily when the tree is small. Water every other day for medium tree.

Fertilizer: every 3 months with 10-10-10 or 12-8-6. Don't add fertilizer when first planting it in the ground or transplanting to the bigger pots.
